Grayhaven Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to giving seniors and unadoptable dogs the time, care and compassion they deserve.  We believe a dog’s age, medical needs or disabilities should never determine their worth—or how long they get to live.

We provide individualized care based on each dog’s physical, emotional, and behavioral needs. That means meeting each dog where they are and for most, having a soft bed, a quiet place to rest, or simply someone who will stay by their side until they say goodbye. Grayhaven is a safe place to be themselves. 

Our belief is simple: every dog matters, every life has value, and every dog deserves to feel safe and loved, no matter their age.  

Our Mission


At Grayhaven Rescue our mission is to provide compassionate rescue, lifelong care, and meaningful second chances to senior dogs. 




We are committed to:
 

  • Rescuing dogs in need who are at risk of euthanasia because of their age and/or medical needs. 

  • Providing individualized care that addresses each dog’s medical, emotional, behavioral, and quality-of-life needs.

  • Giving senior dogs a second chance to experience comfort, companionship, dignity, and joy—regardless of how much time they may have left. At the same time advocating for quality of life and compassionate end-of-life care.

  • Educating and inspiring our community to recognize the value of senior and special-needs animals and to understand that every stage of a dog’s life deserves love.
